Hello! It’s a new year (a month late) but I’m here and I’m trucking along on things, slowly getting myself back on track. I had a pet emergency last month that really threw me for a loop and I seriously thought I might have to say goodbye to MaeMae, the baby I’ve had since I was seventeen. I’m glad I didn’t have to. Now I’m snowed in (I love in easter NC, near the beach, so I don’t have to deal with snow) so I decided to knock out some admin things that got away from me.
I took down my websites in December because I needed to update and I really wanted to revamp how they looked. I’m really happy with how they turned out, and it’s another knocked off a long list of things I’ve neglected. Check out the new website here!
The Dragon’s Keeper Sequel
I have a tentative plan to reread through THE DRAGON’S KEEPER at the end of this month and outline THE DRAGON’S LOVER. My hope is to start drafting in March and finish by May. That means TDL won’t be coming out until later this year, but that’s fine, I’m still trying to catch up and juggle multiple projects and timelines. One day I will have a better grasp of it, but this year the goal is to just get this book out then I can work on other stories set in the worlds of Autumnbrook and Havensfall.
What I’ve Been Reading

My first Kathryn Moon book AND my first Gargoyle book, and let me tell you, Moon has set the bar very high. I will be reading through the books available on Hoopla (go get a library card and download Hoopla if you haven’t before) and I’m so excited. I feel like Moon is going to be added to my “automatic-read” list of authors.
What I’ve Been Playing
I’ve been in my cozy era for the winter season as I’ve been bouncing between Animal Crossing, Coral Island, and Tiny Bookshop. But even more than that, I’ve finally done it. I’ve completed a perfection run in Stardew Valley, on my Switch no less, and I wasn’t sure I would be able to catch all the fish without modding out the fishing minigame. It may be silly but I’m so proud of my perfection farm.
